USEFUL INFO

  • Make sure you’re logged into your account if you are trying to buy online (and follow the notification) -otherwise it will look like there’s nothing on sale
  • Renewal prices will stay the same until 27th August, then moves to full price (same for early bird)
  • 26th and 27th July is for renewals only, then early bird opens from 28th July – this should spread the load on the website and renewal line – try to be patient as there are lots of people trying to renew
  • the ticket office is closed so this has to be done online or via the phone
  • by default, you’ll keep your old seat but if you want to change seat, you pay the price for whatever category you end up in so a Bronze member can move to a Silver member and vice versa – no extra charges
  • the £2.50 donation goes towards Ospreys in the Community to help fund the schools programmes and summer camps.  Nobody should feel obliged but its a fantastic charity (that we also support) and well worth the additional donation if you can spare £2.50
  • there have been a few issues with people trying online but the Ospreys are working on fixes

Season ticket prices look amazing for those renewing or taking advantage of the early-bird offer, so make sure you buy early!  The new Under 25s deal looks like a great idea, so families with growing teenagers benefit significantly, as well as benefitting other under 25s who have to pay their own way!

  • 9 URC Games
  • 2 free guest passes
  • Membership pack
  • 10% retail discount

Congratulations to Adam Beard on being voted the Ospreys Supporters Club Player of the Season.

In what turned out to be the closest validated vote we have seen in years, the 6 ft 8 in man mountain with a smile as wide as the River Tawe came out on top.
First a call up to the Welsh team, then a late call to the British and Irish Lions and now a Player of the Season OSCA, this has been quite a season – congratulations Adam!

Thanks to our brewing partner Evan Evans for supporting this season’s OSCAs.

Its that time of the year when we get to vote for our player of the season.  Some old faces and some new make this season’s shortlist so vote for who you think deserves this season’s award!

After a sporadic fixture list through April and May, we have again decided to hold the one Player of the Month Vote covering the European quarter final defeat against Newcastle as well as the new Rainbow Cup fixtures against old adversaries in Cardiff Blues, Scarlets and Dragons. A mixture of beauty and disappointment that was finished off with an edge of the seat 5 try victory to wrap up the month.

Thanks for your vote

The OSC are delighted to announce that we will be supporting Ospreys in the Community and their partnership with Action for Children as our chosen charity for the remainder of this season and the next.

OitC are a not-for-profit foundation that operate independently to the professional rugby organisation.  We’ve watched OitC grow from their inception into an organisation that has really set the standard in the area they work in.

OitC have agreed a partnership with Action for Children to promote a “Bouncing Back” program to support and improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people in secondary schools.  Since launching “Bouncing Back”, OitC have worked with six local secondary schools with 296 students completing the course. 140 of these were face to face learning with the aim of returning to schools to engage with more children.

As well as this, OitC recently expanded its mental health partnership with Action for Children by adopting the charity’s Guide Digital mental health literacy platform.

As we can’t get together in the Riverside Bar on matchdays for the foreseeable future, we are selling our OSC badges via our Etsy shop and we now have some great looking OitC badges on offer too.  All profits from badge sales as well as any further donations will go towards OitC initiatives in our region so please visit our shop and make a purchase!

Tom Sloane, Head of OitC said:

“Its great to have the OSC on board –  raising money for the Action for Children programmes align well, supporting the work in schools and rugby clubs in our communities”

As well as raising funds for OitC, we hope to get more directly involved in supporting OitC programs. For example, committee members Annette Thomas recently took part in the “30 Days your way” challenge, raising funds to help support the 30% of children who are living in poverty in the UK and Lynne Jones and husband Nigel (our former chair) have helped with the “Sporting Memories” project that supports older people living with dementia, depression and loneliness by engaging them in social activities and helping them to recall memories of watching or playing sport.

Kayleigh Powell, OitC Participation officer said:

“If anybody wants to get involved with OitC programs, just keep an eye out on our social media for upcoming events”
