2019/20 Player of the Season: Dan Lydiate

It is with great pleasure that on the eve of our first game of the new season, we can announce the Ospreys Supporters Club Player of The Season 2019/20 goes to Dan Lydiate. With 63 Ospreys caps, 64  Wales International caps, 3 British and Irish Lions test caps and numerous awards to his name, we are delighted to add the 2019/20 OSC Player of The Season award (obviously up there with his most prized awards) to Dan’s rich collection.

Before these unprecedented times which brought our season to an abrupt halt, it was clear that Dan had shone brightly throughout the season and he had received the vast majority of the nominations for the Player of the Month OSCAs.

Dan also did his bit to keep us all entertained throughout lockdown, and if we could give him an award for his hilarious Tik Toks, we most certainly would!

Well done Dan. Very well deserved. We are looking forward to seeing you earn many more Ospreys caps in the new season.

Congratulations to Morgan Morris on winning his first OSCA!

After much shennanigans in the voting (its good to see that we can electronically check if you’re interfering with ballot papers so to speak), we can confirm that the dynamic backrow forward is the people’s favourite for November.

Sam Parry Takes the October OSCA

There was only going to be one winner taking the first OSCA of the 2019/20 season after a front row forward scored a hat-trick of tries!

Massive congratulations to Sam Parry on the landslide victory and wishing you all the best after leaving the field against the Southern Kings.

October Player of the month vote

Due to the low number of games during RWC2019, we have combined September and October’s player of the month vote into one.  Its been a tough month with so many players either at RWC with Wales, Tonga and Namibia or out with injuries, but our shortlist still carries some heavyweights (yes, they are all forwards).
