Congratulations to Ben John on winning his first OSCA!
Given a run of starts at 13, Ben made a massive impact in the run in at the end of the season, bagging a few tries along the way.
Details of the presentation (next season) will be made when we know when we’ll be playing next!
The Ospreys’ season is finally over after an amazing winning streak was finally ended by Munster (after Nigel Owens consulted TV footage and ruled out Josh Matavesi’s [almost] match winning try that silenced the Thomond Park crowd). But like this year’s [premature] league sponsors, we’re not bitter!

Congratulations go to Daniel Evans for winning the SWWR OSCA for Player of the Season.
Dan received the highest combined votes from the Ospreys forum and the OSC Facebook page to pick up the coveted Player of the Season Award. Only a handful of votes separated the top four with Dan topping a group also consisting of Tyler Ardron, Rhys Webb and Alun Wyn Jones, an indication of the fantastic team performances put in this season.
The award was presented to Dan by our Nigel Jones at the Ospreys annual awards night in the Brangwyn Hall. We took the OSCA back off Dan at the end of the evening to present to Dan in to the Riverside Bar after the Glasgow game to receive the award and be interviewed in front of supporters. In fact – here he is receiving the award in the Riverside!

Huge congratulations go to Sam Davies for winning the March Player of the Month award, sponsored by South Wales Wood Recycling Ltd.
Sam beat of stiff competition to win his first OSCA following two outstanding performances against Munster and Zebre.
Of course, it may be Sam’s first OSCA, but he’s no stranger to awards after being named IRB Junior Player Of The Year and also Junior Rugby World Cup Player Of The Tournament back in
2013.
It’s most likely that his presentation will be made in the Riverside Bar after the next home game against Glasgow on Friday 8th May – TBC.
Not bad considering his dad is a Turk.
