January Player of the Month Poll

Five out of five wins across three competitions has seen the Ospreys create history in Europe with a perfect 30 points as well as rise to the top of the Pro12.  Only the peculiarities of the Anglo Welsh format has meant the Ospreys have not gone onto the semi finals of the cross border competition (or is that a biased view?)

No surprises with Gower Brewery Player of the month for December – congratulations to Alun-Wyn Jones who has taken the award in December for the past four years!  Our captain must like playing against the Scarlets and European opposition.

Gower Brewery December Player of the Month Vote

Six games,  three competitions, four bonus points, six wins……and a partridge in a pear tree.

That doesn’t quite work, but the Ospreys seem to be working fine – it’s time to vote for your Gower Brewery Player of the month for December.  Voting closes New Years Day before we take on the Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade.

November Player and Try of the Month results

Congratulations to the two young fliers Dafydd Howells for taking the Gower Brewery November OSCA and to Tom O’Flaherty for one of his many stunning tries winning the try of the month vote!   Keep an eye out for details of Dafydd’s presentation in the Riverside Bar post match in the coming weeks.

Gower Brewery November Player of the Month Vote

If November has come and gone in a blur, we can recommend a few opticians, but after a slow start, the team reached a high point with a bonus point victory away at a very frosty Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow.

Keelan Giles takes the October OSCA

Congratulations to Keelan Giles in winning his very first Player of the month award!

2015 OSCAThe youngster has taken his opportunity in Europe and the Pro12 in his stride this month, scoring five excellent tries and also proving himself in defence with some last ditch try saving tackles – resulting in Keelan being invited to train with the Welsh squad in preparation for the Autumn Internationals.

We are hoping Sam Davies will be available to collect his OSCA for winning the September vote at our next home game (Friday 2nd December).

After an amazing month, the Ospreys find themselves top of their European Challenge Cup group and equal on points with the top of the Pro12 teams. Gower Brewery Player of the Month Vote September 2016

Welcome back to the first player of the month vote of the 2016/17 season – this year sponsored by Gower Brewery.

Three bonus point victories from four games saw the Ospreys finish near the t2015 OSCAop of the Guinness Pro 12 League with some notable individual displays amongst some great team performances.  If you want to see the real highlights of this month, have a look at the September Try of the month vote by clicking here.  To see previous winners, have a look at the OSCA Honours Board by clicking here.
