Ospreys fans gathered at the Liberty stadium to see the players hit the catwalk for the launch of the 2015/16 Kit.
It looks like BLK have hit the mark this year as a select few hit the catwalk, supported by the relieved bulk of the squad who watched alongside supporters from the back of the huge marquee erected for the event. It’s fair to say that whilst some may have been slightly shy, Matthew Dwyer strutted and vogued in style, much to the surprise of nobody.
Before the launch, the squad played tennis & cricket with some of the younger element of the crowd & the OSC helped host the Ospreys Wheel of Fortune. The main event was hosted by Kevin Johns, entertaining supporters in style as some lucky younger Ospreys fans accompanied players down the catwalk.
The home shirt, modeled by Lloyd Laura Ashley and Dan Pouting Evans sees a return to black which went down very well with the crowd – after all #ourbloodisblack.
After the shirt launch, the club shop was swamped with supporters keen to sort the latest in Ospreylian fashion. Players hung about in the marquee and shop giving fans the opportunity to collect autographs and pictures.
Here’s some pictures from the day and also the Ospreys ‘behind the scenes’ video. For more pictures, have a look on our facebook page and the Ospreys website and shop.
Now all we need is some more rugby action!
